The Ladies' DiabCare® Comodón 11 02 Brown Shoe by D'Torres® is an artisan response to the needs of the diabetic foot and the most sensitive feet. Crafted in our workshops in Elche (Alicante), it combines premium materials with a construction that eliminates any pressure point or friction.

DiabCare® D'Torres® Technology

The DiabCare® D'Torres® line is designed entirely to protect the diabetic foot and feet with heightened sensitivity. Every detail of the manufacturing process meets clinical and comfort criteria:

• No internal seams: the interior of the shoe is designed to eliminate any exposed seam that could cause friction, abrasions or ulcers on fragile skin or skin affected by peripheral neuropathy.
• D'Torres® K Last: an extra wide last, specially designed for wide feet, hallux valgus (bunions), hammer toes and any deformity requiring greater interior space, preventing lateral and dorsal compression.
• Breathable materials: the combination of adaptable bovine leather and elastic lycra promotes breathability and regulation of the shoe's internal temperature, key factors in diabetic foot hygiene.
• Removable DiabCare® anatomical insole: the inner insole is fully removable to allow the fitting of custom orthopaedic insoles or plantar orthoses prescribed by a podiatrist or specialist physician.

Upper and Materials

• Upper: a contemporary ladies' shoe crafted in adaptable bovine leather and elastic lycra, merging elegance with maximum comfort. The leather gradually moulds to the shape of the foot, reducing pressure points from the very first wear.
• Inner lining: highly breathable skin-feel microfibre that keeps the interior environment dry, cool and hygienic, reducing the risk of maceration and skin lesions.
• Fastening: velcro strap across the instep for a personalised, quick and secure fit; particularly recommended for people with reduced hand mobility or difficulty managing laces.

Sole and Cushioning

• Flexible sole: made from high-resistance polyurethane that provides dynamic flexibility during walking, reducing joint impact with every step.
