Yes. The NubeFit™ insole is fully removable and can be easily replaced by any custom orthopaedic insole prescribed by your podiatrist or orthotist. The depth of the inner chamber is designed to accommodate standard-volume insoles without compressing the forefoot.

Is it suitable for people with diabetic foot?

Absolutely. The Adeje D'Torres® sandal meets the criteria for therapeutic diabetic footwear: no aggressive internal seams, breathable materials, a wide last that eliminates pressure points and a rigid sole that protects the plantar surface. Does the Velcro allow adjustment if my feet swell throughout the day?

Yes. The double Velcro system at heel and instep is specifically designed to accommodate fluctuations in foot volume throughout the day, which are common in patients with chronic venous insufficiency, lymphoedema or corticosteroid therapy. It can be adjusted easily without the need to remove the footwear entirely.
