Outer Upper

Crafted from adaptable cowhide leather combined with elastic lycra, the upper moulds to the natural shape of the foot, providing gentle support with no pressure points. The combination of both materials ensures breathability, flexibility and long-term durability.

onSteam® Interior Lining

The interior is lined with the technical onSteam® microfibre, which feels 100% similar to natural leather. It promotes breathability, reduces moisture and keeps the foot in a healthy environment throughout the day — a fundamental aspect of diabetic footwear.

No Aggressive Internal Seams

The DiabCare® construction eliminates or protects all internal seams that could cause rubbing, abrasions or ulcers on fragile or reduced-sensitivity skin — an essential feature for diabetic patients or those with any peripheral vascular condition.

D'Torres® K Last – Extra Wide Interior Space

The Casandra E5 is built on the D'Torres® K Last, an extra wide last designed to safely accommodate wide feet, hallux valgus (bunions), hammer toes or any other deformity requiring greater interior space. It prevents lateral compression and allows the toes to rest in their natural position.

Fastening and Closure System

The upper features adjustable velcro straps that allow a personalised fit throughout the day, adapting to possible fluctuations in foot volume (oedema, swelling), without compromising the stability of the shoe.

Removable DiabCare® Anatomical Insole

The DiabCare® insole is anatomical, cushioning, stabilising and anti-slip. Its design promotes uniform distribution of plantar loads, reducing pressure points. Sole
